About

Patricia “Patty” Sullivan, PT, DPT, NCS

I developed my interest in the human body and physical therapy from a young age, and through personal experience with injury. Since then, I have graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2004 with a BS in Zoology and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2007 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I then went on to become a Neurological Certified Specialist, recognized through the APTA for my skill and knowledge with patients with neurological impairments.

Since graduation, I have gained invaluable experience in various settings, including St Joseph’s Hospital and SWAN Rehab. I have had the opportunity to work with patients from acute through chronic stages of various neurological and medical conditions. It is an honor and privilege to work with these patients and their families, to be invited into their lives to help and encourage them through their recovery.

Through neuroPT, I will continue to provide not only skilled evidence based treatments, but hope, compassion and friendship to each therapy session. I will help you, no matter what stage of recovery you are in.

Rehab does not end when a patient leaves the hospital or rehab; it may not have ended when insurance benefits have run out. Rehab and recovery can be a life long process. With neuroPT, I can help you along your ongoing rehab journey.

Rehabilitation Techniques:

As a neuro trained and specialized physical therapist, I understand that rehab should be individualized to meet each patient’s specific impairments, in conjunction with their goals and desires. This is why I have studied and become certified in a variety of techniques. There is no one right way to rehab. The best rehab usually includes a mix of everything.

My techniques include:

-Neuro IFRAH (Integrated Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation)

-Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)

-Parkinson’s Wellness and Recovery (PWR!)

-Kinesiotape
